Building Project

Please pray with us, as we are looking to purchase property for the meeting. Over the past year our present location has become filled to capacity. We believe that purchasing property in Newcastle West is the best solution for our growing church.

TnT Team

Please pray for the TnT Team visiting us from May 22 to June 1. We are looking forward to a good time on the doors as well as an afterschool kids club from Monday to Thursday. We will also be going to a Country fair with our outreach tent as well as visiting Limerick to work along with some of the Local christians doing some street preaching. We would value your prayers for the saftey of the team, unity, and encouragement in the gospel work.

Summer Mission Trip

Please pray For Ashley, our daughter. She will be going to Botswana in June for a 3 week outreach, working with the Halsbands (Canada) and then home for 4 days then heading down to Peru to work in Morning Star Childrens home for three weeks. Pray for saftey in travel and for spiritual growth.

Easter Holiday Club

Our Easter Club was a great success. We had 34 kids come along, most of them local Irish children. We are pleased with this as it means new contacts with Irish families. All the children seemed to enjoy themselves and said they want to start coming to our weekly kids club on a Tuesday night. We do thank the Lord for His goodness in the help we had. It was a real pleasure to see nearly everyone in the meeting helping out in one way or another. We are hoping to see this develop into an interest to take responsibility on a regular basis on Tuesdays. Over all this was one of our best Clubs to date.

Easter Holiday Club

This Easter we will having a Holiday Bible club from the 6th - 10th April for children aged between 5 and 12 years of age. This will be from 10am until 1pm each day and will include games, crafts, quizzes, singing and Bible story. This is a free event and if you would like your child to come please contact either Colin or Andrew on the contact page.

Kids Club

At the beginning of February we moved our weekly Kids Club to a Tuesday evening and moved venue to the Desmond Complex. This was as a result of an increase in the number of children which resulted in the meeting room at the hall becoming to crowded. The new venue has more space and allows us to play a wider variety of games.

2008 Christmas Programme

Just before Christmas we held a special Christmas evening at the Desmond Complex, Newcastle West. This was an opportunity to invite friends and neighbours to sing Christmas carols, listen to the children sing and recite verses and for the children to receive their prizes for attending the weekly kids club. Noel McMeekin from Co. Monaghan gave a clear gospel message and we are thankful for a good opportunity to let many people know the message of hope from the Bible. We were able to enjoy a large supper afterwards!
